TIE Islamabad in partnership with US Embassy in Islamabad launched Accelerator Program for Women Entrepreneurs. The program is a multifaceted acceleration program which not only provide growth stage women startups with necessary tools, coaching and mentoring, but also provide a sustainable platform for developing international linkages, investor networking and handholding. The key program objectives are:
1) To reduce obstacles (socio-cultural, financial and entrepreneurial capacity development) faced by women entrepreneurs by combating misinterpretations and misconceptions regarding women’s entrepreneurial role by providing focused training/mentoring, access to capital, and international exposure.
2) To provide access to diverse business network and connecting them with local and global investment opportunities.
3) Improve their chances of business success in scale-up phase by equipping them with the capacity building tools and connecting them with funding resources.
